In Loving Memory: Charles Edward Gulley

Charles Gulley passed away on 11/24/22. Preceded in death by mother Kathreen, stepfather Richard and brother Wilson. He is survived by his children Terrance, Richard and Lynda (Devlin), sister Betty Reed, niece Debra, nephews Wilson Jr., Bruce, Keith and extended family. Born in 1940 in Hope, Arkansas, Charles moved to Seattle at the age of five. He was a proud Garfield High school graduate, class of 1958. His love of basketball led him to play on the team at Everett Community College and to later work as a referee and coach at Collins Field House where he met his former wife, Kara Lee Irwin. He devoted 30 years of his career to the United States Postal Service, primarily at the Georgetown station.

A memorial service will be held on January 6, 2023 at 2pm at Columbia Funeral Home, 4567 Rainier Ave South.
