In Loving Memory of Anita S. Elliott
Anita S. Elliott was called to rest on Sept. 16th, 2022 at the age of 71. She was born on October 8th in Samar, Philippines. She migrated to America at the age of 8 yrs old along Sadie her mother Lou Yeatts. She was raised in Southern California.
She made her way to Seattle in 1971 where she met her late husband Gerald Elliott. After a few years of dating they welcomed their first daughter Samantha and Tracie would follow a few years later.
Anita was a devoted member of Ebenezer AME Zion church for over 25+ years serving as missionary, deaconess, member the gospel choir and later a Sunday school teacher.
She retired from Safeway as a manager in 2010 and spent most her free time with her grandchildren. Anita enjoyed playing gin rummy, taking care of her plants, watching westerns, and walks with her grandchildren.
She leaves behind a legacy of love.
