In Loving Memory of Geneva Bailey (Dillard)


Geneva Bailey (Dillard), born July 28, 1929 was called home on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 to join her heavenly Father and loving husband Charlie C. Bailey who preceded her in death just nine months earlier. She was the youngest of ten children and the last surviving

child of Edgar and Lottie Dillard of Damascus, Arkansas. At an early age, Geneva accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and demonstrated her commitment all the days of her life.

In 1945, two weeks after meeting, she married her loving husband Charlie C. Bailey (deceased) of West Point, Arkansas whom she remained faithful until his final breath on July 19, 2021. Together they had five children, Geanetta Sanders, (Cleo) Lindell Bailey

(Carolyn), Charles E. Bailey (Barbara), Robert E. Bailey (Kathleen), and Anita F. Bailey. They have 13 grandchildren, 16 great- grandchildren, and 9 great -great- grandchildren. As the matriarch of the family, Geneva talked openly and often about the importance

of faith and family.

The family of Geneva Bailey would like to express our deepest appreciation for your thoughts, prayers, flowers, cards, calls and visits as we mourn the loss of our matriarch. The shared memories from all of you have meant a great deal to all of us.

Viewing will be held Thursday, April 28, 2022, 11AM- 4PM at Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home & Cemetery located at 11111 Aurora Ave N, Seattle, WA 98133

Funeral services will be held, Friday, April 29, 2022 at 11AM at Rosehill Missionary Baptist Church located at 7550 Martin Luther King Jr Way S, Seattle, WA 98118. (Dr. Shelby L. Tate Pastor & Founder, officiating).
