Light House Temple Community Church Blessing residents, Tiny Homes

When Pastor Venetia Wilson learned about tiny homes being built directly behind the church, she wanted to do something that would be a blessing to the residents.

Pastor Venetia Wilson and church members wanted to do something tangible that could be an immediate blessing, so upon talking with Julia Griffith, tiny home, Arbitrator, Internal affair coordinator, we discovered they were planning to cook and serve Thanksgiving dinner at the tiny homes premises. This is when Pastor Wilson was made aware that an additional $200.00 given toward that effort would be beneficial.”

Upon discussion with Home and Foreign Mission and Outreach Coordinator Evangelist Gloria Durant, it was agreed to bless the tiny home residents with their request.

On Friday, November 13, 2020, Pastor Venetia Wilson and Outreach Coordinator Evangelist Gloria Durant, along with other members of the congregation, met with Julia Griffith where Evangelist Gloria Durant presented her on behalf of the church a $200 gift certificate along with a number of hygiene items and personal tote bags.

“We are the Light House in the community and we just want to do the Christian thing” Pastor Venetia Wilson said. It was truly a blessing to be a blessing to others.
