Vinegar is a very sour liquid used in cooking. Webster’s dictionary and in Ruth 2:14 Now Boaz said to Ruth at mealtime, come, eat, and dip bread in the vinegar

Numbers 6:2-3 Speak to the children of Israel, when man or woman take a vow to separate themselves to the LORD as a Nazarite means to separate from wine and similar drink; they shall drink neither vinegar made from wine nor vinegar made from similar drink; neither shall they drink any grape juice, nor eat fresh grapes or raisins. Also in Judges chapter 13 the mother of Samson was told to follow the Nazarite Vow when she carried him in her womb. “ Teach us what we shall do, she may not eat anything that comes from the vine.”

John 19:28-30 After this, Jesus, knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, said, “I thirst.” Now a vessel full of sour wine was sitting there; and they filled a sponge with sour wine, put it on hyssop, and put it to Jesus mouth. When Jesus received the sour wine, Jesus said “It is finished.” And Jesus bowed His head, and gave up His Spirit.

The Psalm 56:5,12 Vinegar causes bread to rise as yeast and leaven, so it is not used during the passover. The children of Israel calls leaven sin and Jesus calls leaven as beware of the teaching of the Pharisees and sadducees. Mt. 16:11-12

Proverbs 25:20 As he that taketh away a garment in cold weather and as vinegar upon nitre, so is he that singeth songs to an heavy heart.

Vinegar is not good for the teeth in Proverbs 10:26 vinegar has many uses and are used in many ways as long as in correct portions.

Jesus is our Passover, Lamb of God. He is our saviour, deliverer, healer, helper and our everything and our all and all. Will you receive Jesus as yours now, and be filled with the Holy Spirit. Psalm 54:4,7
