Take the Survey: Improving Parks and Outdoor Recreation for Black People in Washington State

The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission and the Washington State Commission on African American Affairs are gathering information to better understand how Black, African American, and African people, people in Washington state experience outdoor recreation.

The information will be used as part of a project to improve the outdoor experience for Black people in Washington. The survey data will also be included in a report to the governor and State Legislature in 2022.

Email the survey link to your community network/church/or organization and urge them to fill it out. Then, ask them to send the link to others in their network.

The survey takes 1-2 minutes to complete. We are trying to gather as many responses as possible from throughout the state.
