Linda was born on June 19, 1955 in Seattle Washington from the union of the late Raymond L. Jones and Melvina Lee Jones, owners of Jones Fuel Company and longtime pillars of the community.

Linda was a proud graduate of Roosevelt High school (1973), the University of Washington (1977) (BA in Political Science and Gov.), and Highline Community College (1985) (AA in Nursing) While a student at the University of Washington, Linda pledged and was accepted into the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. Unfortunately, her failing health forced her to retire from this very rewarding vocation.

The joy of Linda’s life was her family. Of all of her accomplishments, she was most proud of being a devoted daughter, sister, aunt, niece, and cousin. She always enjoyed talking about family, especially her brothers. Linda was full of life, her smile would light up the room when she entered.
