Acts On Stage Theater Announces Children’s Book Day Festival in Seattle Community Celebration to Highlight Literacy, Storytelling, and Diverse Children’s Literature on June 27, 2026

SEATTLE, WA - Families, educators, book lovers, and aspiring young readers are invited to experience a joyful celebration of literacy and imagination at the Children’s Book Day Festival, taking place on Saturday, June 27, 2026, from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Acts On Stage Theater, located at 10806 12th Ave SW, Seattle, WA 98146. In partnership with the King County Preparatory Budget, this event serves as the official launch for the Acts On Stage new “Literally Ours” Literary program, the event is designed to bring the community together through the power of children’s books, storytelling, creativity, and culture. The festival will feature children’s book authors, local vendors, family-friendly activities, interactive reading experiences, and opportunities for children to discover books that inspire confidence, imagination, and a lifelong love for reading. The Children’s Book Day Festival aims to spotlight BIPOC authors, independent writers, educators, and literacy advocates while also encouraging families to build stronger reading habits at home.
