In Loving Memory of Arlene Lynette Botler

In Loving Memory of Arlene Lynette Botler

On the afternoon of Saturday, May 16th, 2020, God reached down and chose one of His garden's choicest flowers in the person

of our beloved sister Arlene Lynette Botler.

Arlene was brought into this world August 5, 1951 in Bremerton, WA. She was the third of seven children born to the late Alvin H. and Maxine Botler. She was proceeded in transitioning by her younger brother Gordon D. Botler.

Affectionately called "Lennie" by her immediate family, Arlene was a loving, caring and loyal sister, auntie and friend who - her best friend Beverly Davis-Bell said - "would speak her mind about things she believed in." Her tongue was only held when wisdom or compassion was in order. She was also a devoted member of churches she attended, most recently Goodwill MB pastored by Bishop Garry L. Tyson.

Arlene is survived by her sisters Roberta L. Banks (Los Angeles, CA), Cheryl E. Hawkins, Pamela K. Botler Wendy A. Hoard, brothers Byron A. and Alvin C-C Botler, nephews Martin J. Banks (all of Seattle), Sheldon D. Botler (LA) and Benjamin D. Hoard (Dallas,TX); nieces Ashel E. Carter (Dallas, TX), Samantha K. Henderson (Sacramento, CA) and Olivia MacDonald (Seattle); grand nephews Jeffrey E. Banks, Marquise Breaux-Banks, great grand nephew Emon J. Banks(Seattle) and a host of friends and acquaintances.

A pre-cremation viewing with a life-photo's video (while following 10-person limit in room for COVID-19 distancing. MASKS ARE MANDATORY!) will be held Fri., May 29, 2020 from 2 - 4 PM.
