Grab your Friends and Family for Holiday Fun at Seattle Center Winterfest presented by Symetra, November 24 to December 31
SEATTLE – As the holiday season approaches, Seattle Center Winterfest presented by Symetra has something for everyone! This five-week extravaganza unfolds on Seattle Center’s campus, offering live performances, markets, and a host of activities to infuse your holidays with joy and seasonal delight.
“We can’t wait to welcome you to this year’s Winterfest. It will be the perfect opportunity to come together and enjoy the holidays at Seattle Center - with live entertainment, seasonal crafts, and a full range of memorable activities for families during this joyous season,” said Seattle Center Director Marshall Foster.
Winterfest commences on November 24 with the Symetra Ice Spectacle. From 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., visitors can revel in a delightful array of free and affordable entertainment, including ice carving, fire pits, roving carolers, and live performances. The day culminates with a Seattle Kraken pre-game celebration in the Armory – fun for the entire family. The full schedule for opening day of Winterfest is listed below:
From November 24 through December 31, immerse yourself in the turn-of-the-century charm of the Winter Train and Village, capture photos within the brilliance of the campus-wide lights presented by Climate Pledge Arena, enjoy weekend entertainment on the Armory stage, or stop by the Seattle Christmas Market, a magical European Christmas Village in the heart of Seattle and a new addition to Winterfest. Shop for unique cultural holiday gifts curated by our Festal community partners at the Winterfest World Bazaar, and don’t forget to join the New Year’s Eve Celebration, featuring the soulful sounds of premier Northwest band Groove Nation and a Fountain of Light show at the International Fountain featuring DJ Supreme La Rock.

In the weeks leading up to New Year’s Eve, visit Seattle Center’s campus and take part in a variety of seasonal offerings across the campus. This includes world-class arts performances like George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker, by Pacific Northwest Ballet, seeing Seattle sparkle from 500’ at the Space Needle’s Loupe Lounge cocktail bar, enjoying seasonal plays at Seattle Children’s Theater or catching Elf in Concert at Marion Oliver McCaw Hall. For a dose of holiday cheer, catch a fresh and lively adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s classic Little Women at Seattle Repertory Theatre, experience Seattle Center’s public art collection with a self-guided art tour presented by Alaska Airlines, or hop over to Climate Pledge Arena for a Seattle Kraken game or concert. For the little ones, there’s the Seattle Children’s Museum with their Noon Year’s Eve Pajama Party countdown and dance party. And of course, mark your calendars for the spectacular T-Mobile New Year’s Eve at the Needlefireworks and drone show under the iconic Space Needle.
