For 30 years, Happy Zone Child Development Center Inc. owned and operated by Felicia

Edmondson-Kemp, has been a place where children across Seattle and South King County are welcomed, nurtured, and inspired to grow. What began as a commitment to quality early learning has become a cornerstone of our community, helping generations of parents and young learners build curiosity, confidence, and kindness. From Olympic athletes, NFL football players, Professional soccer players, lawyers, Doctors, Teachers, Tech’s, Tradesmen and young Entrepreneurs we have trained, raised and educated them all proudly.

This milestone belongs to everyone who made it possible: Evelyn Hooper my MAMMA !!!, my sister Sherry Edmondson-Alexander, Martha Edmondson, Ada Jewell Brooks, Helen Hicks, Verna Lynn Reese, Gloria King, Patti Barlow, Debra Coleman, Charlene Sorrell. and many more mentors and supporters; thank you. Thank you to the dedicated teachers and staff who show up with patience and heart every day, the families who trust us with their most precious gifts, and the community partners who stand beside us.
