On the evening of Sunday, June 29, 2025, our beloved Reverend Willie C. Hodge was peacefully called home to be with the Lord. Reverend Hodge was the proud owner and founder of Hodge’s Hair Quarters, an establishment of the community and far more than a barbershop. To sit in his chair was to be seen, heard, and comforted. Conversations in that space often ran deeper than the cut—sometimes it was therapy, sometimes laughter, always love. For many, that chair became a place of wisdom, faith, and counsel. He was preceded in death by his eldest daughter, Belinda Hodge, and his sons, Dewayne Hodge and Darrin Hodge, whom he now joins in eternal rest. He leaves to cherish his memory sons: Mr. Willie Chris Hodge Jr., wife Roslyn-deceased, Mr. Jansen Hodge and wife, Carla, Mr. Jason Hodge and wife, Traci, and daughter, Ms. Dionne Conner; his beloved brother Chrisler Hodge and family; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and dear friends who were blessed to know him. The Hodge family is deeply aware of the countless lives touched by Reverend Hodge's kindness, his prayers, and his presence. We are grateful for the outpouring of love, support, and condolences during this time of remembrance. The celebration of his life, a man who led with heart, served with humility, and lived with purpose, will be held at First African Methodist Episcopal Church on August 9th at 11:00 AM. 1522 14th Ave., Seattle, WA 98122
