Celebration of Life for Pastor/Mother Curtistine Lee Bowens Sr.

Our Beloved Mother/Grandmother was called from labor to rest on December 18th, 2022.

She will be remembered as a God-fearing woman who loved and preached the word of God, and she wasn’t ashamed to tell you. She insisted on us going to church and taught us the importance of having a relationship with the Lord. She would say, “Hold on to the unchanging hand of God!

She’s survived by her 5 Grandchildren, over 40+ great and great great grandchildren (3 generations), nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of other family and friends who loved her.

The Wake will be held at Personal Alternative Funeral Services Chapel (Serenity) 749 Central Ave N, Kent, WA 98032 on Thursday, Dec 29th, 2022, from 5-7pm.

Service will be held, Friday, December 30th, 2022, at 10am at Greater Mount Baker Missionary Baptist Church 2425 S Jackson St Seattle, WA 98144. Followed by the processional to Tahoma Nat’l Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her husband Clarence C. Bowens. Repast following the service at 3pm in the fellowship hall of GMBMBC.
