Honoring Harrison (Dickie) Ward

Harrison (Dickie) Ward was born in Seattle, Washington, on November 18, 1937, to Bobrie Lee, Sr. and Gertrude Ward. After many years of health challenges, he departed this life on August 31, 2022, at the age of 84.

Dickie spent his entire life in Seattle, growing up in the Central District. He attended Horace Mann Elementary, Washington Middle School, and Garfield High School, where he ran track and played football.

Dickie would meet the love of his life, Doris L. Pascal, and join with her in holy matrimony on April 24, 1959. They were married for 63 years. Together they were blessed with three children: Kenneth Harrison, Lance Eugene, and Adriene Denise.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 23, at 11:00 a.m., at Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Home, 11111 Aurora Avenue N., Seattle. There will be a repast immediately following the service at Wshelli/later at the Royal Esquire Club.
