In Lovin Memory of Joseph Garland Bryant



Joseph was born to the union of Van V. Bryant and Willie L Bryant on January 21, 1954 in Seattle, WA He was a longtime lover of mechanics. Joseph worked as a mechanic at Kenworth Trucking Company for a time. Afterwards, he took that love to working on cars for family and friends. Joseph loved his family dearly, who affectionately called him Gaba or Unk. Although his mother always called him Garland and he called her Mother or Madear. They were extremely, very close and loving all his life. Joseph was a lover of food. At every family gathering, his family always made sure Mother would take Unk a large plate home. Joseph was preceded in death by his Father Van V., Sister Martilla, and brother Bruce. He leaves to mourn, his loving and devoted mother Willie L., sisters Loretta and Carolyn, brother Eddie, two aunts Frankie Lou, and Gladys, and one of many cousins, Linda, along with a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 5pm-7pm Fri. Jun. 24, 2022 at Serenity’s Personal Alternative Chapel 749 Central Ave. N Kent, WA 98032 and continue from 1pm until time of funeral service at 2 PM Sat. Jun. 25, 2022 at Restoration Bible Church 228 S 128th St. Seattle, WA 98168. Inurnment will be at 2pm Tue. Jun. 28, 2022 at Lake View Cemetery 1554 15th Ave. E Seattle, WA 98122.
