In Loving Memories of Dorothy (Dee) Young

Dorothy Young affectionately known as Dee was born May 2, 1949- January 16, 2022. Dee was the oldest of eleven (11) siblings born to the union of the late Roosevelt & Willie Mae Young. She attended M.M. Tate high school in Marvell, Ark up to the 10th grade and graduated from Garfield High School in 1967 and attended North Seattle College. She went on to work for the Postal Service as a carrier and management retiring after 30 plus years of service. Everyone she met was a friend. If you needed help, Dee would take the “shirt” off her back for those in need. Dee is survived by her two daughters, Zenetta (Zee), Kemeisha, and son, Kevin Young, and 10 siblings and a host of beloved nieces and nephews. Celebration of Life Service will be held at Greenwood Memorial Park Funeral Home, 350 Monroe Ave NE, Renton WA on Friday, February 4, 2022, @ 11:00 am.
