In Loving Memory and Celebration of Life of Joan L. Davis-Smith SunRise 10/18/46 SunSet 05/19/22 Joan has been in the hospital since January 02, 2022. She fought a good fight. Her body was worn and her spirit was ready to move on. She passed away on her Mother’s birthday. Joan was a retired postal worker for over 30 years. She loved to bowl and play bid whist at the Elks Club, Senior Center and in the homes of friends. She loved her family and enjoyed her family monthly gatherings where she would often bring her green bean casserole and famous black eyed peas. Inurnment will be Friday, June 17, 2022 at 1:00pm at Old Tacoma Cemetery at 4801 South Tacoma Way, Tacoma 98409. Memorial Celebration and Repass will be Saturday, June 18, 2022 at 1:30pm at Rainier Beach Community Center at 8825 Rainier Ave S. Seattle 98118.
