In Loving Memory of Amos Moore III


March 29, 1946 - August 22, 2021

Amos Moore III was born in Bolingbroke, Georgia to Amos Moore II and Gussie Mae Moore.

Amos grew up in Georgia, and graduated from Hubbard High School with honors. He served in the Airforce four years; completed his duty at McChord AFB, and remained in Tacoma.

Amos was married 50 years to Emma Moore. They had two children: Amos IV and Jaavita, who preceded him in death.

Amos worked at Kaiser Aluminum, Hygrade Food Products, Sam & Terry’s Barbershop and retired from Boeing as a “Jig” Builder.

Deacon Amos Moore III was the First Gentleman at House of Prayer for All Nations. He loved the Lord and was faithful to the ministry.

Amos transitioned Sunday, August 22, and leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Bishop Emma Moore, son, Amos IV, adopted daughter, Geraldine Bowers, and three grandchildren: Quadelle and Latravion Satterwhite and Amos V; and families in Georgia, California, Florida, Texas and Washington.

Viewing at House of Prayer, 4802 E. McKinley Avenue, Tacoma, WA, Thursday, September 2, 4pm to 7pm. Funeral Services: Saturday, September 4, 2021, 10:00am at Shiloh Baptist Church, 1211 So. I Street, Tacoma, WA.
