Andre Melonson was a sweet, kind, and playful son, brother, and friend. Andre left this world on April 18th, 2022 at the age of 35 after a long struggle with substance disorder.
He was born on November 1, 1986. As a child, Andre loved to play, explore, and adventure endlessly with his siblings and neighborhood friends. Andre had a light-hearted, welcoming spirit, making friends wherever he went. His bright and warm smile will be missed by all.
Despite his life’s challenges, Andre was curious, hopeful, and open to new experiences. He learned to play the steel drums, received a barista certification, and in 2008 achieved his GED. What he really enjoyed most was family get-togethers and the love and closeness of his family.
Andre is survived by his parents, Gary and Rebecca Melonson, his siblings, Bryson, Tyler, Kendall, and Marinda, his Grandmother, Gina, and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. A private celebration of life will take place later this summer with family and close friends. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Matt Talbot Center

RIP Big Dre 🖤 you were my big brother, an integral part of my formative teenage years - not just keeping me safe but also getting me so stoned I couldn't see straight lmao. You will be missed - I pray you've found peace at last. As my (step) dad always told me me - "This isn't goodbye, it's See You Later"
