Barbara Richards was born to Brodie and Margie Adams on October 2nd, 1940. She attended Garfield High School. Barbara was a correctional officer for 25 years. She was the mother of Cherri Davis and Tami Williams. She liked dining at fine restaurants and liked going to Las Vegas for leisure and relations. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church for years. She loved life and loved the Lord.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Brodie Adams – father, Margie Adams – mother, Cherri Davis – daughter, Gloria Brown – sister. She leaves to mourn and cherish her memory her daughter, Tami Williams.

Special thanks to Tami Williams, Patricia PJ Sheehy, and Vernell Walker. Also, a special love to Valtrice and Keith Parham and to all friends and family. Her special and favorite song was “I Celebrate Me.” God is Good. May her home‑going be blessed, and rest in peace. She was a lovable and kind person with a beautiful soul.

She was a child of GOD.
