In Loving Memory of Betty Marie Tarver
Betty Marie Tarver was born on April 17 1943 in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma to the late Elsie Sallis and W.Tarver. She was the first of ten children, six brothers, and three sisters.
Betty moved to Seattle at the age of five to live with her uncle Bob and aunt Icie. She attended Bailey Gatzert Elementary and completed her studies at Pacific High School. She went on to birth to four boys and carve her path in the workforce. She established a career in Maintenace Engineering that spanned over 40 years and worked in the Railroad Industry for 15 years.
Betty accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and savior at an early age. She was dedicated to helping others. Unselfishly sharing her home, her time, and her love. She was a kind-hearted soul and had a contagious smile that touched everyone around her.
Bettys strongest passion was her love for her family. She loved to laugh and spend time with “her Boys”. Seeing them together you could feel the love they have for one another. Betty also enjoyed reading, mainly medical books and magazines.
