In Loving Memory of Blanche Ella (Head) Johnson Oberti

At eternal rest, a life well lived and loved by family and friends.

Blanche Ella (Head) Johnson Oberth (1934-2022) passed away peacefully on Monday, August 22, 2022 at the age of 88 years old.

She was a proud, life-long Seattleite who attended Garfield High School and went on to a very rewarding career with the Boeing Company where she retired with merit after thirty-six years. Blanche treasured her family and was a loyal friend with some she knew from grade school days. She enjoyed gardening, lilies were her favorite, and through the years her love for animals was clear to the end with the comfort and love of her dog, Cassius.

Blanche is preceded in death by her beloved mother and father, Grace and James Head, siblings James, June, Kenneth, and Arthur, and great grandson DeShawn Williams. She is survived by her loving daughters Denise Brown (Bobby), and Stephanie Johnson-Toliver, grandchildren Tracy, Terrell, Hillary, Eugene, and Max, five great grandchildren, and loving nieces and nephews.

The family will honor their matriarch with a Celebration of Life on Wednesday, September 7, 2022, at 11:00am.
