Bonnie Duncan
Bonnie was born to Gladys and Evan Duncan on September 21, 1939 in Seattle,
Washington, she was the 3rd oldest of 7 kids. She attended Horace Mann
Elementary, St. Mary’s Catholic School, Immaculate Conception High School, and
Garfield High School.
Bonnie held jobs until she started her career at The Boeing Company as a Sheet
Metal Fabrication worker (building airplane parts). She spent many years through
layoffs and strikes until she retired.
She was the mother of four kids Ernest Montgomery, Gladys Scott, April Duncan,
and Ricky Hill. She raised her granddaughter like her own, helped raise all her
grandkids, but most importantly, loved being with and doing things with her
grandkids (Great & Great Great), she also loved traveling and being with her
friends, going to plays and operas, and her favorite restaurant, Daniels.
Bonnie was a very lovable person and had a really good relationship with friends
whom became her extended family, she was called mom, auntie, and grandma by
many.
Bonnie was predeceased by her parents, Gladys and Evan Duncan, older sisters
Evangeline Carvine, and Gloria Quarrells, her youner sister Judith Epps, sister-in
law Linda Duncan, younger brothers David Duncan, and Timothy Duncan, son
Ernest Montgomery, daughter Gladys Scott, grandson LeeNard Scott Jr., great
grandson Ondrae Williams, and step great granddaughter BreAunna Batchelor.
She leaves to cherish her memory her brother, Yessler “Peter” Duncan, her
daughter April Duncan, son Ricky Hill, goddaughter Jackie Calloway, grandkids
James Duncan Sr. (Hope), Bonnie Williams-Mitchell (De’Shaun), Antonio Duncan,
Laura Duncan, Tyronza Jackson, and Bonus granddaughters Ayanna Porter and
Cutie Burns, 28 great grandkids, and 25 great great grandkids, friends Jean & Ward
Fields, Carol White, Joyce Long, many nieces and nephews, cousins, and a host of
other relatives and friends. Also her canine family, her baby Gunter, grandpup
Prince, Great grandpups Smoke, Hunny, Bella, Ace, Harley, and Oreo
