In Loving Memory of Carolyn M. Jackson


Carolyn Melete Brazier was the fifth of six children born in Deridder, Louisiana to Alberta and Willie Brazier. In 1947, Carolyn and her siblings moved to Seattle, WA where she attended Seattle Public Schools and Curry Temple CME church.

Carolyn began sewing at the age of 12. She was also an avid philanthropist giving both time and money to many charities that benefitted underserved children. Carolyn volunteered with the Central Area Parents and Coaches Association and will be remembered as a selfless woman of service who dedicated her life to helping those in need.

She is immediately survived by her husband of 62 years, Charles Jackson; daughters, Sandra Jackson-Banks, Christina Delgardo, and Katrina Beckwith; son, Jean-Paul Jackson; three sisters, Elaine Norwood, Annette Johnson, and Marion Brazier.

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at 11am
