Carolyn is survived by her daughters Mechele Vaughn, Selena Vaughn, Sharron Smith, Twanya Vaughn McGruder, and Renee Vaughn and was proceeded in death by her daughter Sheila Vaughn -Walker, husband Johnny R Vaughn and stepson Robin Vaughn. Her grandchildren Kaylah, Marquita, Deja, Shane, Jontell, Jovaughn, Justin, Kadijah and Kinyatta. Followed by a slew of 12 great grandchildren who she loved dearly and always was aware of how blessed she was watching them grow.

The lord called Carolyn home on December 25, 2021, at Virginia Mason Hospital, Carolyn was a member of Southside Church of Christ and will be deeply missed by all her family members and friends, may she rest in peace until we see her on the other side.
