In Loving Memory of Cherie Jane Rowe


The “Queen of Psalms” a vibrant, soft spoken angelic loving spirit Cherie Jane Rowe entered the pearly gates of Heaven July 19, 2022. Cherie Rowe born October 4, 1952, in Seattle, Washington to the late Rosa and James Rowe. Cherie answered God's call at her home in Renton, Washington.

Cherie, a graduate of Franklin H.S., also studied at the University of Washington. Cherie retired from U.S. West Communications. Cherie loved serving the Lord, a faithful Mt. Zion choir member, Vice-Chair of Grandmothers Against Gun Violence, a performer/artist at Langston Hughes theatrical, and community leader/activist who will be dearly missed.

She is survived by a son, a daughter, six grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of family, friends, and loved ones.
