Beverly Annette Raines, 78, passed away on November 10, 2025, followed six days later by her beloved husband of 56 years, Curtis Harold Raines, Sr., 79, on November 16, 2025. Lifelong residents of Seattle, they built a life rooted in faith, service, education, community, and unwavering devotion to one another.
Curtis and Beverly dated for 6 months and were married for 56 years.
Beverly was an educator and Principal at Seattle Public Schools for over 36 years, and Curtis worked in Telecommunications for 29 years and was a Vietnam Veteran.

My sincere condolences to the Raines Family. Beverly was the consummate educator who positively impacted the lives of hundreds of Seattle's Children. I will be praying for Curtis and Beverly's children and other family members as they walk through this Valley of Sorrow.
