David was born on May 20th, 1964 to Bishop Leo Charles Brown, Jr and Anne (Benson) Brown in Tacoma Washington. In 1987 he received a Baccalaureate of Arts Degree in Religion from Bishop College in Texas and then a Master of Divinity Degree from Virginia Union University School of Theology in 1994. Elder David began his extensive ministerial career in the COGIC church in 1985 at Greater Harvest as a Junior Pastor working through many posts and since 2009 was the Associate Elder at True Vine Community.
