After graduating from High School Dorothy married and started working at the United States Postal Office where she worked for 36 years upon retiring in 2002. Dorothy was married to Lucius Boone Jr. for 34 years.
One passion she had was bowling, she bowled for fun in a bowling league for over 30 years and was the Treasurer for the league and banquet planner. Dorothy’s biggest passion of ALL was her FAMILY! After the passing of her grandmother Mother Maxine Kirby, Dorothy took over all the family events, Christmas, Thanksgiving, Birthdays, large picnics with family and friends in her backyard. Any event there was to celebrate, Dorothy took charge!
Dorothy was a major part of her family’s lives and she will be sorely missed.
