In Loving Memory of Edward “Ed” Bailey

Edward “Ed” Bailey was born to Joseph H. Bailey and Mary W. Petree in Roanoke, Alabama His family relocated to Vancouver, Washington where he attended primary and high school. He attended Clarck College during that time he served in the National Guard, and Army Reserves proudly for 35 plus years. Ed married Elmer Jean Yarbrough. He was a hard-working and dedicated man. He worked for the Boeing company, United States Post Office where he served as Postmaster for Baker City Oregon before retiring. In In 1980 Ed met the love of his life Nan “Nancy” he became a loving father to Pamela. They shared 40 years of marriage. He served as a Deacon at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Seattle, Washington until health challenges. Edward is survived by wife Nancy, children Anthony Bailey, Terri Spann, Timolin Abrom and Pamela Toyer, 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, brother Joseph Bailey and a host of relatives and friends.

Final services will be held at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church Saturday January 15, 2022. The viewing will begin at 10am with an 11am Service.
