In Loving Memory of Elizabeth “Liz” Wheeler

Elizabeth “Liz” Wheeler received her Heavenly wings on January 29, 2022 at the tender age of 77 years old at Swedish Hospital in Seattle.

Sis. Liz was a founding member of Zion Preparatory Academy along with her mother and father Bishop Eugene and Coreathea Drayton. They started the school with $8.32, founded on the basic principles of servicing Seattle’s inner city youth by supporting single parents and low income families.

Sis. Liz and her husband Pastor Doug Wheeler founded Christian Restoration Center in the late 1990’s. They served the Seattle Community for almost 20 years. Sis. Liz was instrumental in keeping the church together spiritually and financially. She believed everyone had a gift and should have the opportunity to use it.

Services will be held at 10am Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Rosehill Missionary Baptist Church 7550 Martin Luther King Jr. Way S., Seattle, WA 98118.
