Our beloved Mother, 

It is with heavy hearts that we announce  Marie has received her wings our Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Great Great Grandmother, Aunt, Cousin, and friend, foster kids, sister in law and nieces and nephews. She was born in Monroe, Louisiana moved to Seattle in 1947. 

She is most remembered for raising her birth children, two great grandchildren, and two grandchildren (Tanisha and Sharmaine Brown).

Marie is preceded in death by her husband Japheth Lewis and three sons Robert Murphy, Lee Roy Brown, and Freddie Brown

She leaves the following to cherish her memory, mourn her loss, and continue her legacy: Helen Brown-Jordan (daughter) Roxanne White (daughter), Willie Mitchell (son), Yvette Brown (daughter).
