Elridge Paul Morgan Jr. (Butch) was born March 19, 1955 in St. Louis, MO to the union of Elridge Paul Morgan Sr. and Agnes Louise Morgan. Our beloved Butch transitioned peacefully from this life to eternal life on October 21, 2021 in Seattle, WA; he was 66 years old. Elridge was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Elbert Wooten/Lillian Woods; his paternal grandparents, US Morgan/Mussette Morgan; his mother, Agnes Caldwell; his father, Elridge Morgan Sr./Lena (James) Morgan; and his infant daughter Rhonda Harris. Butch is survived by his exceptionally devoted and loving wife of 40 years, (his “Barbie”) Barbara A. Morgan, daughter (his “Beautiful”) Helen Sims, son (his “Blue”) Jason Morgan Sr. (Niesha), his dear daughters, Ann Samuel (Lonnie), Angelia “DeeDee” Chatman (Anthony), Shonda Harris and dear son Darnell Harris (Ebony); 23 grandchildren; his adoring sisters Brenda States (Michael), Paulette Rivers (Joe), Angela Green (Myron) and Tracey Delgardo (Robert); his beloved brothers Minkah Ali (Nialah), Dwayne Morgan, Rodney Morgan (Alicia), Everett James (Patricia), Genie James, Alonzo James (Trenia) and Anthony “Tony” Morgan...along with his many loving in-laws, nephews. Nieces, cousins, family-by-choice and friends. We will continue to honor his legacy by living our lives to the fullest! Wake is Fri Nov 5, 2021 3p-7pm, Memorial Service is Saturday Nov 6, 2021 at 10am both at Columbia Funeral Home 4567 Rainier Ave. S. Seattle 98118. Viewing will be 9a-10a prior to the Service. Interment will take place at a later date at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, WA
