In Loving Memory of Fleta "Suga Baby" Goodall

Fleta Goodall, lovingly known as Suga Baby, received her heavenly call on July 6, 2026, at the age of ninety-eight,  leaving behind a legacy of devotion, strength. and unwavering faith. Her final honoring service will be held on August 28. 2026, at 11:00 AM at

the Winfield Kansas Veterans Cemetery. Located at 1208 North College Street, Winfield. KS 671 56. She will be laid 10 rest beside her forever love, Samuel Goodall, Jr.

Bom in Venus, Texas, on March 12. 1928, Fleta lived a life filled with purpose and resilience. She worked many jobs throughout her lifetime, but her greatest calling-and her proudest joy- was raising her 10 children. who remained her priority everyday of her life. 

Her love extended across generations, blessing her with a host of Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, and Great-great-grandchildren. Along with nieces and nephews, all of whom cherished her deeply. 

Fleta is survived by her beloved brother and last remaining sibling, Preston Shaw, of Wichita, Kansas. 

As the matriarch of her family, Fleta filled her home with laughter, wisdom, and unforgettable Stories. Long before television ever entered their household, she entertained her children with

jokes and tales that became treasured family memories. Her faith guided her every step; to all who knew her, she was the most God-fearing woman they had ever known:
