With deep sorrow, we come together to celebrate the life of an extraordinary woman. Frances was born in Seattle, WA. She went to Seattle Public Schools and later attended Seattle Central Community College. At the age of 7, she was baptized and committed her life to the Lord. She devoted many years of her life to working for the University of Washington. She was a resilient and generous woman. Her family was everything to her. She will forever be remembered as a cornerstone of her family, celebrated for her remarkable cooking and her profound love for music. Frances impacted the lives of countless individuals and will be deeply missed by those who loved her.
Frances L. Walker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Walker Sr. and Earlee Walker, as well as three of her siblings: Thelma Walker, Sharon K. Walker, and Lawrence Walker Jr (Sonny). She leaves behind her two children, Lynnette Jones and David Munson Jr. (Dion), two sisters, Laruith Walker and Linda Walker, and four brothers, Lorenzo Walker (Tal), Mervin Walker, Eric Walker (Doran), and Cedric Walker. Additionally, she is survived by five grandchildren: David Munson (Deandre), Kevin Bascomb Jr., Da Veonna Munson, Bruce Jones, and Da Vantre Munson, along with four great-grandchildren: Davion Munson, Kariel Bascomb, Kevon Bascomb, and Kevari Bascomb, her goddaughter Colleen Ford, as well as a large circle of relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held on June 28th, 2025 at The Church By The Side Of The Road.
