In Loving Memory of Gale Coleman


Sunrise: February 28, 1960 – Sunset: October 4, 2022

Gale Coleman was called home to be with the lord on October 4, 2022, after a short illness. Gale was born in Seattle WA to Helen Coleman and Rev John L. Coleman, she was the 6th of 8 children. She was raised in the Central District and attended Madrona Elementary, Meany and Lincoln and Garfield High Schools, she excelled in school and was a good student and went on to work as a Homecare Asst and at Seatac Airport. Gale had 6 children and 9 grandchildren whom she loved with all her heart. She was a very nice, kind, and a loving person, she would help anyone in need. Gale is truly loved and will be deeply missed by all her family.

Gale was preceded in death by her father Rev John L. Coleman, her mother Helen Coleman, her brother Melvin Coleman, her son Donald Coleman and granddaughter Tenia Coleman. Gale leaves to mourn her passing her children, Anthony Delgado, Dontea Delgado, Delon Coleman, Heleen ‘Coleman’ Kelly, and Dale Coleman; Sisters, Clementine ‘T.T’, Sadie, Rosa and Joyce; Brothers Jerry and Johnny; And 9 grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews and friends. Gale leaves a true legacy of love to cherish her memory, and she will be truly missed.

Viewing and Service: Will be held at Good Shepard Lutheran Church / 2116 E Union St. Seattle Wa 98122. Viewing is from 10:00-10:50 am and Service is at 11:00 am. Internment: Friday, November 18, at Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home / 11111 Aurora Ave. N Seattle WA 98133. Repass: Good Shepard Lutheran Church / 2116 E Union St. Seattle Wa 98122
