In Loving Memory of Geraldine (Gerri) Bradford

Geraldine (Gerri) Bradford

Geraldine (Gerri) Bradford was called to her Heavenly home on March 2, 2022. Gerri was born in El Dorado, AR to the parents of Shellie and Ruth Bernice Bell Bradford. She completed her mandatory schooling, graduating from Booker T. Washington High, where she would meet Destory Springer and the two would soon welcome a son, named Dwight. Soon afterwards, Gerri traveled to Seattle, WA. She became a member of New Hope Baptist Church and was employed by the Boeing Aerospace Company. She met and married Clayton Patrick, who was also employed by Boeing and later moved to Lancaster, CA when Clay was transferred to that city. The couple was blessed with another son, Jarrod (aka Nino), and both continued their employment with Boeing. Gerri received on-going training while at Boeing and retired as a Planning Engineer with the company.

After re-locating to Lancaster, Gerri joined First Missionary Baptist Church in the 1970s and was an active and dedicated participant in her church community, serving many years with the Food Bank and the Tutoring Department. The church family was an important part of her life and she made sure that her grandchildren grew up within the church with her, to share the values and love of the Lord.

Gerri was full of life; she practiced healthy living and enjoyed exercising. She was an active PROUD member at the 24-Hour Fitness Gym. She loved her Zumba classes! She loved her pet dogs, Modha (dec’d) and Benson (her beloved surviving pet).

Both parents and 10 siblings preceded Gerri in death. Mourning her passing, but forever cherishing her memory are two sisters: Wanda Lofton (Jesse) and Ollie Ruth Hawkins, Seattle; Two sons: Dwight Patrick (Gina) and Jarrod (Nino) Patrick (Terrisina), Four grandchildren: Mandee Jaegers, Garran Patrick (Anneliese), Dalton Patrick (Alisha) and Desiree’ Blount (Marquez); Seven Great-grand Children and multitude of nieces, nephews and cousins across several states. She also leaves many close friends in Seattle to mourn her passing and celebrate her life.

A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held Saturday, March 19 at Living Stone Cathedral of Worship, 37721 -100th Street E, Little Rock, California 93535.
