In Loving Memory of Hallie Wiggins

Hallie Wiggins was born September 3, 1930 in Caldwell, TX to Orange and Amanda Kemp. She was the first born of 12 children. Hallie met Leonard Wiggins in 1948 and married December 18th, 1948. They were married for 64 years until his passing in 2012. Hallie joined Peoples Institutional Baptist Church in 1964 and was a mother of the church. She was employed with Providence Hospital (now Swedish) where she retired after 27 years of service.

Hallie was an amazing cook. Most notable were her homemade biscuits, pound cakes, and turkey dressing. Until this day, no one has been able to duplicate the way she perfected those flawless pancakes.

To cherish her memory, she leaves her three daughters: Gloria Rhodes (J.L.), Lynn Wiggins-Jackson (Eric), and Jennifer Simpson. Sisters, grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial Service will be held at Peoples Institutional Baptist Church December 4, 2021 11 AM.
