Jacqueline E. DuBose
Services: August 2, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home, 11111 Aurora Ave N, Seattle, WA 98133.
Jackie was born on July 30, 1947, in Selma, Alabama, to the late Clarence and Ethel DuBose.
She attended school in Selma, Alabama, and graduated from R.B. Hudson High School.
Jackie became active as a Foot Soldier in Selma during the Civil Rights Movement to fight for voting rights and racial equality by supporting those on the front line.
She moved to Seattle, Washington, and joined the New Hope Baptist Church in 1965.
The Boeing Aircraft Company employed her for many years, at which time she retired.

Jackie was blessed with one child, son, Demtrius Dubose. She now rests in peace with her son Demetrius, her parents, and three siblings.
Jackie is survived by Jackie DuBose, Christine Thomas, and Annice Jordan of Seattle, WA; Edgar DuBose Sr. (Linda) of Dothan, Alabama; Clarence DuBose of Piscataway, New Jersey, and Charles (Pat) of Brooklyn, New York.
A special daughter, Claudia Job of Chicago, III; a special niece, Latonya Bradford of Seattle, WA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends who will miss her.
