From the cockpit to the pulpit, Seattle native James K. Griffin, Sr., a 1964 graduate of Garfield High School and 1968 Seattle University graduate, stepped into foreign and unfamiliar spaces and made his presence and impact well known. A Vietnam Cobra helicopter pilot, a FedEx pilot coming onboard in the early days of a young company and Pastor at New Beginnings Community Church, Memphis, Tn. James planted seeds and affected the lives of so many! He will be dearly missed. Rest in heaven! The Griffin Family.
