Jeanette (Farrow) Turner was born July 19, 1958, in Seattle, Washington to Bettye Mae (Franklin) Smothers. She was the 4th of 9 children. Jeanette graduated from Redmond High School class of 1975. Soon after giving birth to her first child, Jessica (Farrow) Baxley.Jeanette had 5 more children: Porsche Phelps, April Collins, Tremaine Payne, Lonnie Tyler, and Evelyn (Turner) Omtvedt. Jeanette became a proud grandma at the beautiful age of 36. She would eventually have 10 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild: Octavia Baxley, Olyvia Salter, Tyrese Baxley, Renell Brown, Jayden Tyler, Kiandra Briscoeray, Kevin Briscoeray, Avayah Tyler, Caleigh Collins, Violet Payne, and Aaliyah Bun (great).
On January 10, 2022, Jeanette was called home to glory. On January 14th she was joined by her mother Bettye Mae Smothers, Bettye Mae was Born in Arcadia, Louisiana on May 8th 1934 to Lonnie and Florence Franklin. She relocated to Seattle, WA in 1958 pregnant with Jeanette. She would have a total of 9 children. Bettye Mae Married

her golden years in Tucson Arizona.
Bettye Mae and daughter Jeanette joined stepfather Douglas T. Smothers, grandparents Lonnie and Florence Franklin, son/brother Jack Iverson, Cousins TL and Willie Mae Willis, brother/uncle Albe Franklin and lifelong friends Pearl Buckner, Gale Harper and Carol Cristobal.They leave behind their AuntSister Ivestine White, Jeanette's spouse Alex Ben Turner, her brothers; Earl Farrow, Rodney Farrow, Kenneth Iverson, Rogus Iverson, and Norward Willis as well as her sisters Yolanda Payne, and Wealtha Deakings. They also leave between them both 23 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and a host of cousins and loved ones.
Funeral service will be held January 31st at Evergreen Washelli @ 1pm in honor of Jeanette Turner followed by Memorial service for Bettye Mae Smother at Masonic Lodge in Kent, WA. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting plants and no black.
