In Loving Memory of Jerrie Deloise Oliver (King)

Jerrie Deloise Oliver (King), born June 30, 1938, in Center, Texas, to parents Myrtis Bertha Lee Holbert and George King, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2025. Jerrie was raised by her grandmother, Nancy Holbert. In 1965, she moved to Seattle to join her extended family. At an early age, Jerrie accepted Christ and leaned on her faith throughout her life. Known for her unwavering strength and compassion, she built a fulfilling career, working at Sunstrand Data Control and dedicating decades as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Her love for music and gardening was evident in her well-maintained roses and vegetable garden. Jerrie took great pride in keeping her home in pristine condition and cooking for her family during holidays. She also enjoyed being with friends, shopping, traveling, and taking walks. A lifelong learner, Jerrie took classes in typing and art at the local college. Jerrie will be joyfully reunited in heaven with her sisters, and her three sons, Barron, Quentin Wayne, and Gavin Jr. She leaves behind a loving daughter, Clarissa Dillard (David), many grand/great-grand kids, cousins, nieces and nephews.
