With broken hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved mother Jimmie L. Lewis. She was born in
Sardis, Mississippi and married Walter F. Lewis ( who preceded her in death ) on September 13, 1957. She moved to Seattle in 1969. Jimmie retired from the Westin Hotel after 30 years of employment and she also retired from The Bush School after 10 years of employment. Jimmie joined Washington Park Baptist Church and was an active member until the church doors closed. She also was a church Mother @ Shiloh MB Church until her health prevented her from attending. Jimmie was the nicest, sweetest and most giving person that you could ever meet. She had a deep love for her 3 daughters, Annette Wells ( Emmanuel Ray )
Ruby Becton and Laverne Berry.
Her love also extended to her 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 4 siblings and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. She now rests in peace with her husband Walter, her parents and 2 siblings.
