Brother, Father, Uncle, Grandfather & Servant in God’s Kingdom.
A native of Seattle, Washington, John Smith was a retired Sargent Major in the Army, a retired U.S. Customs and Border Patrol Officer, and a serial entrepreneur.
In his later years, he devoted his time to his passions: His Family, His Faith at Restoration Life Church, Biblical studies at the A. L. Hardy Academy of Theology (where he earned his Doctor of Ministry degree), Travel, and helping others.
Continuing their Father’s legacy are 6 remaining children: Angel Smith, Shawna (Smith) Johnson, Jontae Smith, Rhonda Q. Smith, Sir Clinton Smith, Zaria Smith; 2 brothers, Howard Smith and Larry Welch, 18 Grandchildren, 2 Great-grandchildren, and a host of Nieces, Nephews & loved ones.
Dr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents: Howard Smith, Cecil & Dorothy Softli; 2 sisters: Martha Ann Moore and Julie Softli; and 1 son: John Charles Smith.
