In Loving Memory of Leroy R. Miller Sr.


Leroy R. Miller Sr. was born June 9, 1934, in Greenville, Alabama to the union of Arthur Miller and Jennie Lewis-Miller. Leroy, surrounded by his loving family, transitioned peacefully from this earthly life to God’s eternal glory on March 3, 2023 at the age of 88.


Leroy was preceded in death by: his father, Arthur Miller, his mother, Jennie Lewis-Miller, eight brothers, Johnny Miller, Walter Miller, Jessie Miller, Lewis Miller, James Miller, Willie Lee Miller, Nolan Miller, and Jimmie Lee Miller; three sisters, Arwillie Steele, Jennie Crenshaw, and Daisy Bell, one grandchild, Adriel (Auddie) Webb, and one great grandchild, Adriel T. Webb. He leaves to forever cherish his memory, his wife of 69 years, Ruby Miller, two sons, Leroy Miller Jr, and Gary Miller (Lisa), three daughters, Kathy Webb, Jeanette Miller, and Linda Turner (Robert), one daughter-grand, Rakisha Williams (Jason), seven grandchildren, Tinisha Ferguson (Steven), Tionna Miller, Jawaan Calhoun, Shemar Wilson, Gary Miller Jr, Kaylyn Miller, and Ariana Frazier (Carl), seventeen great grandchildren, Derrick Jones Jr, De’Jaya Jones, De’LasiaJones, Imani Moronkola, Steven Ferguson , Rahmir Williams, Nu’Kai Webb, Jaylani Wilson, Kamari Webb, Zakari Wilson, Elias Miller, Lucas Miller, Caleb Frazier, Amaya Frazier, Khaiden Miller, Tristen Miller and Elijah Miller, three great-great grandchildren, Ja’Nya Jones, A’ZayahVester, and Derrick Jones III and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.


Services to Celebrate the life of Leroy R. Miller Sr. will be held at Evergreen Washelli 11111 Aurora Avenue N, Seattle, WA 98133 on Saturday, March 25, 2023. Viewing will begin at 11:00 AM and Service at 12:00 PM.
