In Loving Memory of Lester Laris Jr.

Lester Laris Jr. passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025, at the age of 92.
Lester was born on February 23, 1933, to Nealie and Lester Laris Sr. He
loved both music and science. He was a talented musician and a health and
'tness enthusiast. His passions led him to major in music at Clark College.
There he met his wife, Lessie. They moved to Seattle, where he continued
his education, at Seattle University and the University of Washington. Lester
proudly served in the U.S Navy. He later worked for The City of Seattle,
Boeings, and Metropolitan of Seattle (Metro). He retired as a Senior Water
Quality Specialist after 28 years of employment at Metro.
Lester was an active member of Curry Temple C.M.E Church. He was involved
in numerous community projects and activities. He was also a member of
the Masonic Organization.
Lester was preceded in death by his parents: Nealie and Lester Laris Sr., 'rst
wife: Lessie Laris, sisters: Patsy Ann “Doralee” Hall and Mary Dwight. He is
survived by his second wife, Linda Laris, his son William “Billie” Laris (Vicki),
grandchildren: Ciera Brown (Tyerel) and Briana Laris, sisters: Jessie “QT”
Carlisle (Dawson) and Cheryl Penson, and a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 10:00 AM at
Bonney Watson Funeral Home, 16445 International Blvd, Sea Tac,
Washington 98188
