Louis Johnny Brown, Sr.

Sunrise - September 14, 1933        Sunset - July 26, 2025

A Celebration of Louis J. Brown, Sr., whose life fittingly set on the Sabbath Day.  

Born in St. Maurice, LA, he later moved to Winnfield, LA where he married Marie Nelson in 1953. Honorably discharged from the military in 1955 he moved his family to Seattle, WA in 1965, beginning a long career at Boeing, retiring in 1995. He faithfully served as First Elder in his church, being a major influence for good, and loved by many. Abundantly blessed as a founding father patriarch, he is survived by Marie, 7children, 17 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.

Reflections on his life and tributes will be held at 7pm Monday, August 11, 2025. Visitation will convene from 10am until time of funeral service at 11am Tuesday, August 12, 2025 all at Maranatha Seventh Day Adventist Church 7132 43rd Ave South in Seattle, WA 98118. Burial will follow at Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washinton.
