In Loving Memory of Luella J. Glymph

Luella J. Glymph was born May 28, 1931, in Macon, Mississippi. She passed away peacefully on December 16, 2021, at the age of 90, surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by parents Thomas (“Pap”) and Amy Williams, as well as husband Willard Glymph.

Lue (as her family and friends called her) loved the Lord and was a member of Seattle’s First A.M.E. Church, serving for many years as an usher. She was a strong woman with an open heart and will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She leaves to cherish her memory: son James Glymph (Cristine); daughter Antoinette Williams; brother Ernest S. Williams; 6 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

A viewing will be held January 9, 2022, 10 AM - 5 PM at Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home located at 11111 Aurora Ave N, Seattle 98133. Burial service will be on January 10, 2022, 1 PM, at Abbey View Memorial located at 3601 Alaska Road, Brier, WA 98036.
