In Loving Memory of Marion "Sug" Jones


"Marion "Sug" Jones was born July 9, 1945 in Hope Arkansas and he departed this life Wednes- day November 1, 2023 surrounded by loved ones here in Seattle, WA. Sug was a self-taught master of all things mechanical and carpentry re- lated, he was anointed with a special gift that he loved to share unselfishly with his family and friends, he was a true “Jack-of-all-trades”! You could always find him with a car full of tools ready to fix something as that was what he loved to do. Sug was preceded in death by his parents Em- manuel and Margaret Nelson Jones and his bo- nus mother LeeAnna Thompson-Jones along with seven of his siblings Cherry, Barbara, Betty, Manson Sr., Raymond, Wilbert, and Tommy. Sug leaves to cherish his legacy and memories with his special loving partner Sadua, his three children Damico, Margo, and Christopher, his grandchildren Doriahna & Jaybrie, and great- granddaughter Paityn along with his siblings Dorothy Vaughn (Columbus, AR), Vera Thomp- son, Elaine Calloway, Michael Thompson and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. Marion "Sug" Jones’ celebration of life will be held Saturday, November 18th, 2023 at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. Viewing at 10:00am; Service at 11:00am- 12:30pm; Internment at Abbey View Memorial Park at 2:00pm; Repass at 3:00pm location TBA Thank you all for the love, calls, & texts our fam- ily truly appreciates each of you!
