In Loving Memory of Mark Anthony Dobie

Mark was born on May 24, 1967 to the parents of Henry W. Dobie and Barbara J Moore, in Berkeley, CA. In 1974 Johnny Sandle and Barbara married and moved their family to Honolulu, HI. Where Mark attended Lehua Elementary school and found a love for sports (football, and baseball).

In 1978 Johnny and Barbara moved their family to San Diego where they Joined New hope Friendship Baptist Church. Mark attended Farb Middle School and Serra High school. Where mark continued to play sports and graduated in 1985.

Marks life was full of twist and turns. He joined the U.S Army and later found himself in Sales which took him to San Francisco. He later moved back to San Diego.

Mark loved music, people, golfing, taking walks, and watching sports especially his San Francisco 49ers.

To set an example for his daughters he went back to school and got his Bachelors and Master’s Degree. With those in hand He moved to Seattle and Pursued a Career with the U. S Post Office, where he moved quickly into a management position.

He later returned home to San Diego, California to be close to his mother and family and continued to work for the Post Office. Mark passed away on October 9. 2020.

He leaves to cherish his memory his Parents, Jenesh and Zuri Dobie (daughters), Jonathan and Brianna Sandle (Siblings) Lovita Mayo and a Host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. He preceeded in Death Grandparents, Henry Dobie (father) and Michelle Johnson (sister).

Services were October 21, 2020, New Hope Friendship Baptist Church, San Diego, CA 92113
